What is Kwai Tsing district like?

Kwai Tsing is in the south-west New Territories and is Hong Kong's main cargo and logistics base. Kwai Chung is built on hillsides, with estates at different levels; the north and east of Tsing Yi island are residential, while the south and west have oil depots, shipyards and other industrial facilities.

How do you get around?

The Tsuen Wan Line stops at Kwai Fong, Kwai Hing and Lai King, the Tung Chung Line at Lai King and Tsing Yi, and the Airport Express at Tsing Yi. The Lantau Link and several highways connect to the airport, Kowloon and the western New Territories. Hillside estates in Kwai Chung and some estates on Tsing Yi are far from a station and rely on buses and minibuses.
