Kwun Tong district guide: housing, transport and school nets
Kwun Tong district is in Kowloon East and covers Kowloon Bay, Ngau Tau Kok, Kwun Tong, Sau Mau Ping, Lam Tin, Yau Tong and Lei Yue Mun. It has a high share of public housing along with large private estates such as Telford Gardens and Laguna City. The Kwun Tong Line runs through it, and it is split between Primary One school nets 46 and 48.

Kowloon City district guide: housing, transport and school nets
Kowloon City district covers Kowloon Tong, Kowloon City, Ho Man Tin, Hung Hom, Whampoa, To Kwa Wan and Kai Tak. It has low-density homes and large estates as well as old areas under redevelopment and the new Kai Tak development. The Tuen Ma, Kwun Tong and East Rail lines serve it, and it is split between Primary One school nets 34, 35 and 41.

Southern district guide: housing, transport and school nets
Southern district covers the south of Hong Kong Island, from Pok Fu Lam, Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau to Repulse Bay, Stanley and Shek O, with hills and a long coastline. The South Island Line reaches only Wong Chuk Hang and Ap Lei Chau; the rest relies on buses and minibuses. The district is Primary One school net 18.

Eastern district guide: housing, transport and school nets
Eastern district runs from Fortress Hill to Chai Wan and Siu Sai Wan and has the largest population on Hong Kong Island. It has large estates such as Taikoo Shing, Kornhill and Heng Fa Chuen, older buildings in North Point and Shau Kei Wan, and public housing in Chai Wan. It is split between Primary One school nets 14 and 16.

Wan Chai district covers Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Happy Valley, Tai Hang, Tin Hau, Jardine's Lookout and Mid-Levels East, mixing offices, shops and homes. The Island Line and the cross-harbour East Rail Line serve it, and the district is Primary One school net 12.

Central and Western district guide: housing, transport and school nets
Central and Western runs from Kennedy Town to Admiralty and up to the Peak. It mixes old walk-ups and single-block buildings in Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun with large flats and houses in Mid-Levels and on the Peak. The Island Line serves the north shore, and the district is Primary One school net 11.
