Most of Sai Kung district's population lives in Tseung Kwan O, which includes Po Lam, Hang Hau, the town centre, Tiu Keng Leng and LOHAS Park. Sai Kung Town, Ho Chung and Clear Water Bay are rural, with large country parks, coast and islands, and many visitors on holidays.

How do you get around?

The Tseung Kwan O Line stops at Po Lam, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O, Tiu Keng Leng and LOHAS Park; you can change to the Kwun Tong Line at Tiu Keng Leng, and trains cross the harbour to Quarry Bay and North Point. The Tseung Kwan O Tunnel and the Tseung Kwan O–Lam Tin Tunnel link to Kowloon East. Sai Kung Town and Clear Water Bay have no railway and rely on buses and minibuses to Choi Hung, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O or Sha Tin.

Every MTR station in Tseung Kwan O connects to a mall, such as PopCorn, Metro City Plaza and Tseung Kwan O Plaza, and the town has Tseung Kwan O Hospital and a waterfront promenade. Sai Kung Town has seafood restaurants, a market and piers, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is at Clear Water Bay.
