Packing household belongings and boxes for a move

Start with both buildings' arrangements

Ask both management offices about their moving procedures before agreeing a time with the mover. Buildings can have different arrangements. Keep a proposed time distinct from a confirmed booking.

Identify the lift and entrance, responsibility for protective materials and the return procedure. Record who must be contacted if the mover is delayed or the booked window needs changing.

Confirm each building separately

Enter only confirmed charges or deposits. For unresolved fields, record the question and follow-up person.

Example: the two lift windows do not line up

Departure is confirmed for the morning and arrival for the afternoon. Ask the mover to assess the gap rather than assuming early access. Add the agreed waiting or rescheduling arrangement to the written itinerary and quote.
