Plan transport and care separately

Do not assume that a furniture-removal service includes pet transport. Confirm arrangements with the actual transport provider and assign a household member to handle the pet and essential-item handover.

While the home is receiving furniture, agree which space can be used and who will provide care. Check the tenancy, building rules and transport arrangement separately; these records answer different questions.

Example: transport and removal arrive at different times

Pet transport arrives before the removal vehicle. The assigned person receives the pet and places essentials in the agreed space, while the removal lead handles furniture. The two handovers do not depend on one person being free.
