Match household members across White Form records
Compare the applicant and household particulars across documents and retain changes rather than treating a declaration as a new household selection.

Start with the application record
HD1161 requires its household particulars to match the relevant application. Compare the submitted version with identity-document names and keep unresolved points for the authority.
For a changed household circumstance, retain its date, notice and evidence and follow the official procedure. A replacement form should not erase the original household record.
Compare records person by person
Keep and submit evidence through the authority's requirements.
| Item | Record | Follow-up |
|---|---|---|
| Applicant | Name and application reference | Match the declaration |
| Members | Listed members and relationships | Check each entry |
| Evidence | Relevant identity and household records | Prepare as requested |
| Change | Date, notice and response | Retain the earlier version |
Example: two forms differ
If a name differs, establish whether it is an entry error or a household change and retain both versions for the handling office.
Retain people and version records
- Members match the original list
- Changes have their own record
- Acceptance is not assumed
