Find owners' corporation records and document copies
Check the owners' corporation index against the building and district before requesting its records or copies. Corporation records differ from an individual unit's land register and from the management company's own information.

Land Registry
Prepare for your task
| Task | Information to have ready |
|---|---|
| Building and district | Prepare the building name, full address and district, checking the Hong Kong/Kowloon or New Territories index rather than relying on a management-company name. |
| Records required | Specify the corporation record and enquiry purpose, keeping the request distinct from a unit's title search, work notice or ordinary management records. |
| Inspection or copies | Identify whether inspection, copies or certification is required, then check the relevant office and charges for the selected service. |
| Records and follow-up | Retain the records and enquiry date, referring unresolved corporation or management questions to the relevant corporation, management or responsible professional. |
Scope and arrangements
- Index and document searches are record services; a particular document should not automatically be treated as complete evidence of every current management arrangement.
- Corporation records do not replace a unit's title documents. Refer transaction or deed questions to the responsible professional with the relevant records.
