Record renovation models, dimensions, colours and substitutions

List models, dimensions, colours and locations, with supply responsibility. Keep separate substitution confirmations rather than relying only on appearance or a broad product name.

Assign a specification to each location

A product name can cover different sizes, finishes and series. Record the actual selected model and markings, connecting samples or photographs to the same row. Keep pending selections distinct from confirmed ones.

Supply, delivery, installation and surplus handling can have different responsibilities. If the original selection is unavailable, retain the alternative specification and its implications before updating the agreed arrangement.

Example: similar colour, different model

Delivered material resembles the sample but has a different model number. Compare the order, schedule and delivery markings, document the difference and ask the responsible party to confirm it. Visual similarity does not identify the specification.

Information before delivery and installation
