Check the new address and activation date

Check the full building and unit address with the supplier. Service elsewhere on the street does not establish an installation at the flat. Record confirmation details, appointment dates and unresolved site questions.

Record expiry, moving, termination and equipment-return terms for the existing contract. Separate the new service's monthly, installation, equipment and other confirmed charges. Compare the same period rather than only the first month's expense.

Compare service and contract arrangements

Enter amounts only for confirmed items, keeping offers and unresolved conditions separately.

Example: occupation starts before installation

The home can be occupied before the installation appointment. Include that gap in the moving itinerary and arrange work requiring connectivity separately. A completed booking is different from an activated service.

Keep records of the moving request

  • Full address and coverage response
  • Installation booking and cost version
  • Existing contract and equipment-return plan
